Judges will consider the following when judging a routine; difficulty and execution of movements, choreography, costume, new and innovative movements and the entertainment value of the routine. Each routine will be judged for its artistic impression and technical merit.

After a freestyle competition if a competitor has questions they want to discuss with the judges regarding their score sheets and if time permits, they may approach the show chair and ask to speak to the head judge.
